In orthopaedics and rehabilitation, we supply the products needed by hospitals, physiotherapy centres and orthotic and prosthetic workshops. This group covers supportive and corrective orthoses and braces, compression stockings, mobility aids and joint prostheses such as hip and knee replacements.

Products in this group fall into two very different categories. Orthoses, braces and mobility aids are mostly low-risk products, where size charts, materials and packaging details matter most. Joint prostheses and trauma implants, on the other hand, are high-class medical devices and are not shipped without a Notified Body certificate, implant card and lot traceability.

Questions about this group

Do you supply custom-made orthoses and prostheses?

We supply ready-made sizes directly and work to the manufacturer's measurement procedure for custom-made products. Fitting custom-made products is the task of an authorised orthotist or prosthetist in the destination country.

What information is needed for joint prostheses?

We need the system, size range, material and quantity. Prostheses are usually requested as size sets; we prepare the set contents and lot traceability according to the manufacturer's documents.

What should we include in an order for compression stockings?

Just send us the compression class, length (below knee, thigh, tights), size and colour. Decisions on the medical use of the product are for the physician.
