We supply equipment, consumables and spare parts for radiology and nuclear medicine departments. This group covers X-ray, mammography, CT, ultrasound and MRI systems; their tubes, detectors and critical parts; and contrast media, film and radiation protection products.

Imaging equipment is high-value, sensitive cargo. Before quoting, we discuss the dimensions of the room where the system will be installed, the electrical infrastructure and shielding requirements, as well as the licences and permits the destination country requires for ionising radiation sources. These permits are the responsibility of the buyer and the local authority; we provide the manufacturer documents needed for the application.

Codes are indicative and follow the HS 2022 nomenclature. The final classification is made for each shipment based on the product's technical characteristics, intended use and the tariff of the destination country.

Documents we request from the manufacturer

  1. Declaration of conformity and Notified Body certificate

  2. Manufacturer's ISO 13485 quality management system certificate

  3. Radiation safety and performance test reports

  4. Installation, service and room planning guides

  5. For contrast media, marketing authorisation details, certificate of analysis and, where required, a CPP

Transport and storage notes

Tubes, detectors and CT parts are shipped in climate-protected crates with shock and tilt indicators.

Contrast media are shipped at the temperature on their label and protected from light.

X-ray films are kept away from heat, moisture and radiation; the risk of airport screening is discussed with the carrier in advance.

Questions about this group

Do you supply used CT or MRI systems?

We assess this case by case. For used or refurbished imaging systems, we first check the destination country's import rules; many countries apply an age limit or require special permission.

What information do you need to order an X-ray tube?

We need the system's brand, model and serial number and the part number of the existing tube. We quote after verifying the tube's compatibility with the system against the manufacturer's records.

Do you obtain the radiation licence?

No. For devices containing ionising radiation sources, the installation and operating permit is obtained by the buyer from the competent authority of the destination country. We provide the manufacturer documents and test reports needed for the application.
