What we do

We source the products that hospitals, laboratories and distributors need from the facilities that make them and deliver them to the country where they will be used. The goods travel directly from one country to another; the contract, documents and payment are managed in Istanbul. In healthcare, we know how much a lot number, a temperature record or a declaration of conformity matters. That is why we start with the documents, not the price.

No import into Türkiye

Goods are loaded in the manufacturer's country and delivered in the buyer's country. They make no unnecessary port calls, which reduces freight costs, transit time and handling risk. Where the route requires it, bonded warehouses and free zones can serve as intermediate stops.

Working with manufacturer documents

The declaration of conformity, quality management system certificate, certificate of analysis and instructions for use are requested from the manufacturer before shipment and checked against the buyer's requirements. Nothing ships with missing documents.

One contract, one point of contact

The buyer signs a contract with us. Price, delivery terms, shelf life requirement, document list and payment terms are set out in one place. We coordinate between the manufacturer, the carrier and the bank.

Product groups

A healthcare facility's requirements list, in twelve groups.

We source and sell in transit the healthcare products covered by our articles of association, from medical devices and spare parts to laboratory consumables, from sterile single-use products to active pharmaceutical ingredients. Each group page sets out the product scope, typical HS codes and the documents required.

A transit transaction

Five steps from request to delivery

  1. Step 01

    Request and specification

We confirm the product, model or technical specification, quantity, destination country and required documents. Any marketing authorisation or registration requirement in the destination country is discussed at this stage.

  2. Step 02

    Manufacturer and document check

We identify suitable manufacturers and authorised distributors. The document set is requested before the price: declaration of conformity, quality management system certificate, shelf life and storage conditions.

  3. Step 03

    Contract and payment structure

Purchase and sales contracts are set up separately. Letter of credit, documentary collection or advance payment is chosen according to the size of the transaction and how well the parties know each other.

  4. Step 04

    Loading and shipment

The goods leave the warehouse, airport or port in the manufacturer's country and travel directly to the buyer's country. For temperature-sensitive products, packaging and data loggers are planned before loading.

  5. Step 05

    Documents and delivery

The transport document and product documents are released to the buyer in the order set by the payment structure. The buyer clears the goods through customs in their own country and takes delivery.

Sensitive products

Temperature is a property of the product.

Vaccines, infusion solutions, reagents and some medicines remain usable only if they are transported within the temperature range on their label. For 2-8 °C, 15-25 °C and frozen products, we plan the packaging type, data logger and transfer points before shipment.

Logistics

Compliance

We obtain documents from the manufacturer and check them against the buyer's market.

SUNVERA is not a manufacturer and does not issue product certificates. We request the documents the destination country requires from the manufacturer and the supply chain, and before shipment we check that they are complete and consistent with each other.

Our name

SUN + VERA

Sun stands for light that reaches everywhere, and for transparency. Vera means true and correct in Latin. Together they sum up how we work: right product, right documents, right route.

Why Istanbul

A desk between manufacturer and buyer that covers both working days.

Istanbul is a natural meeting point between the markets of Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, the Caucasus and Central Asia. The GMT+3 time zone makes it possible to correspond with a manufacturer in Asia and a buyer in Europe or Africa on the same working day.

In transit trade, the goods do not need to come to Istanbul. What is managed here is information: the contract, documents, payment and the shipping schedule. Working from a city with strong airport and port connections also means samples and documents can move quickly when needed.
